All About Eve

"I don't want realism, I want magic."

Certified film lover and serial daydreamer. I hold a B.A. Honours in Film Studies from the University of British Columbia and an M.A in Film Preservation and Collection's Management from Toronto Metropolitan University. My masters thesis considers the preservation of films within the UCLA Outfest Legacy Project for LGBTQ+ Motion Picture Preservation. I am greatly interested in the heyday of the Hollywood studio system, the history of queer cinema, and phenomenon of film stardom.

Some of my favourite movies are: Mulholland Drive (2001), Sunrise (1927), Cléo de 5 à 7 (1962), Beau Travail (1999), and La Passion de Jeanne d'Arc (1928).
